Top 10 Sexy Geeks of 2007

Note: I am reposting this because it absolutely begs for comment action. A few of you might have a shot at a correct guess since you were actually there. (Hint: it took place at one of Minneapolis' favorite destinations for late-night gluttony).

Once upon a time, I hit on one of the Top 10 Sexy Geeks of 2007. Try to guess which one!

Incidentally, how do I remember this? Oh, probably because it ended up being one of the worst nights ever (for unrelated reasons).

It Would Be So Easy To Make A Culture Club Joke Right Here

If anyone is actually still reading this, you can also head over and check me out on Tumblr. It's a sort-of blog that seems to fit a more stream-of-consciousness posting pattern (imagine Twitter+A Normal Blog).

There's a few deficiencies — no comments, permalinks and archiving work weird — but there's a few interesting features that might make it worthwhile — different kinds of posts for different content, clean and easy design, the ability to "remix" other people's posts (which I think might step in for a commenting function).

I'll probably give up on it like usual, but for a few days at least, be there or be somewhere else entirely.

Yakety Saks

Marian Bantjes just produced a really interesting extension of the recently redesigned Saks Fifth Avenue ID. I think I might use the "Shoes on Eight" voice to label rooms from now on — "Guitars in the Basement," "Toilet on Two."

Coudal Partners finally answers the age-old question: Can you wash a keyboard in a dishwasher?"

I personally just like that technology now allows a simple way to put a camera in a dishwasher.

Gas was one thing, but this...this is bad.

No! Good lord, no!

A hops shortage may soon raise the price of your favorite microbrew. Better start hoarding like a Fat Squirrel now.
